Ecogia is a location in which the ICRC, International Organizations, Public or Private Institution may come and organize their Training or Meeting Sessions.
Situated near Geneva and close to Cointrin Airport, the Centre is equipped with state-of-the-art training and communication technology.
Ecogia was inaugurated in 2001 and will belong to the ICRC for 50 years before reverting to the municipality of Versoix.
The cost of renovating the building was funded by the FIPOI (Building Fundation for International Organizations) through a 50-year interest-free loan. Funds to cover the cost of facilities and equipment were provided by sponsors and private donors.
